My Story
I've always been relatively active growing up. I dabbled in weight training in high school, but didn't take it seriously until after I become a Mom. ​

Like many, an event in our lives triggers an emotion that determines our drive and our goals. After having my third child, we went on a family trip to Disney World. It's supposed to be the happiest place on earth (so they say!). I recall waiting in a long line to take a picture with - none other than - Mickey! When I saw the photo, my heart sank. I could not bring myself to share the photo. My confidence was at an all time low, and I realized I had not prioritized myself. In that, I felt lost. The day we returned home was the day I made a change and promise to myself, and to my family, that I would lead a healthier lifestyle. I cut out processed foods and sugars, and reduced eating out. I became more active, focusing on walking or riding a stationary bike. After making some headway with a routine and consistency, I hired a trainer. Little did I know this was going to be the start of a passion from within. ​

Prior to starting my journey as a trainer, I worked as a Research & Event Coordinator on Obesity Research for 13 years. I met and worked with many who struggled with their weight and the effects it had on their mental well-being, their health, and their families.
It opened my eyes to a new way of thinking and made me realize that I wanted the work I do to make an impact in people's lives and improve their health. Providing support, inspiring and witnessing clients reach their goals makes my job the best one I could ask for. I am privileged to be apart of their story and watch each of them move better, feel better, and ultimately succeed on this journey we call life.
Where I Spend My Time




Family
Family is at the heart of everything I do. I am dedicated to being the best version of myself for them. I am a strong believer in tradition and helping my family create lasting memories. I am blessed to have an amazing husband and 3 amazing children. Being able to guide my children to become amazing human beings is my goal.
Activity
Whether it's lifting weights, hiking, running, or learning another new sport, I am always looking for ways to challenge myself. Staying active keeps my head in check, clears the outside noise, and helps me focus. Prioritizing physical activity helps me be a better Mom, a better role model, and a happier person. You'll always find I'm picking something new to challenge myself with each year.
In the Kitchen
When I'm not doing something active, you'll find me in the kitchen, curating delicious meals for my family and friends. I believe that we "eat with our eyes" and I strive to create healthy, well-balanced dishes that taste and look appetizing. Being in the kitchen is a way for me to find solitude in my thoughts. It allows me to create freely with no recipe or plan.
Gardening
There's something miraculous about being outdoors and even more so growing your own food. It always amazes me when something new pops up in the garden, and how mother nature has the ability to replenish and work its magic. Each moment spent in the garden is a celebration of life, connecting me to the earth and the delicious bounty it provides.
